Terms of use

Purpose

These terms govern the use of MatchiMatchy, on the website and in the app. By creating an account, you accept them.

Who can use MatchiMatchy

The service is for people aged 18 or over. Your account is personal: your information must be accurate and you are responsible for what happens with your password.

What we offer

MatchiMatchy helps people meet in three separate universes: LOVE, FRIENDS and PLAY. The score and affinities shown are hints computed from your answers: they guarantee neither a relationship, nor a friendship, nor a game.

Before the public launch, test profiles labelled “Test profile” may appear. They do not reply.

Your behaviour

Forbidden: harassment, threats, intimidation, blackmail, fake profiles and impersonation, scams and requests for money, advertising, unsolicited sexual, hateful or violent content, and any content involving a minor.

Respect other people’s choices: a refusal, a pass or a block is not up for discussion.

Your content

You keep ownership of your photos, texts and messages. You only allow us to host them and show them to the people concerned, as part of the service. Only post photos of yourself that you hold the rights to.

Moderation and reporting

Photos are reviewed before they are visible. You can report or block someone from their profile, a conversation or a circle. We may remove content, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and pass information to the authorities when the law requires it.

Meeting people

You remain responsible for your meetings. For a first date, choose a public place, tell someone close and do not share money or sensitive information. Report any worrying behaviour from the app.

Coins

Coins are usage credits in the service: they have no cash value, cannot be exchanged or refunded for money, and cannot be transferred to another member. Daily coins do not add up. The terms for buying coins will be set out when it opens.

Availability

We do our best to keep the service running without interruption, without being able to guarantee it. We may change it, add or remove features.

Liability

We are not responsible for members’ behaviour, online or when meeting, nor for the content they post, unless the law says otherwise. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you.

Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time from your profile, in the app or on the website. It is deactivated at once, then erased after 30 days.

Changes

If these terms change in an important way, we tell you before the change applies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Tunisian law. If you disagree with something, write to us first: we will look for an amicable solution.
