Delete your account
You can close your account at any time, from the app or the website, without writing to us.
From the app
It takes four steps:

Profile
Open the Profile tab, bottom right.

Settings
Tap the gear at the top right.

Delete my account
Tap “Delete my account” at the bottom of the screen.

Confirm
Enter your password if you have one, then confirm.
From the website
Sign in on matchimatchy.com, open My profile, then the gear “Account settings”. “Delete my account” is at the bottom of the page.
What is erased, and when
Your account is deactivated at once: your profile leaves Discover, the map and matches.
After 30 days it is erased for good, with your profile, photos, questionnaire answers, preferences and messages. This delay lets us handle an ongoing report or a mistake.
What may be kept
For members’ safety we keep a limited trace: the log of sensitive actions (such as the deletion itself) and reports that concern you. They only serve safety and are never shown to other members.
Can’t sign in any more?
Write to hello@matchimatchy.com from your account’s address, with the subject “Account deletion”. We delete the account and confirm it by email.
