What brings you together deserves more than a number
A photo can make you want to discover someone. Affinities can help you see whether your expectations meet.
What we compare
Your answers in the LOVE universe are compared with the other person’s, only on the questions you have both answered.
Relationship intentions
A serious relationship or an open-ended encounter: this weighs the most.
Life plans
Children, marriage, plans ahead: topics with real consequences.
Life as a couple
How you recharge, how you go out, the pace of your life.
Communication
How you handle a disagreement, how much you need to talk.
Interests
In FRIENDS, hobbies and your city count the most. In PLAY, sport, level and availability.
What you see on a profile
An affinity percentage, up to three strengths you share and, sometimes, a topic to talk about together.
The other person’s answers are never shown. You see what brings you together, not what they answered.
Differences to discover together
A topic where your answers differ is not a rejection. It is a conversation to have, at the right time.
Our principles
Something in common is not a guarantee
The percentage is a hint. It promises neither a relationship nor a friendship.
A difference is not a problem
It can be discussed, and sometimes enriches a relationship.
A missing answer does not count against you
Only questions answered on both sides count. When some are missing, the percentage stays more cautious.
Preferences change
You can change your answers and preferences at any time.
Affinities are explained
Each percentage comes with what brings you together.
What filters before comparing
Some rules come before affinities: the distance and age range each person chose and, in LOVE, who each person says they are looking for. If you mark a question as essential, for example about children or the kind of relationship, an incompatible answer rules the profile out.
Astrology and numerology
In LOVE, you can turn on astrology and numerology, just for fun. They only count if you both turned them on, weigh very little and never rule anyone out. They do not predict whether a couple will work.
